The project management provider RationalPlan obtained the third place at Capterra’s Project Management Election 2012.
The project management provider RationalPlan obtained the third place at Capterra’s Project Management Election 2012. RationalPlan has been nominated as being one of the 55 contending project management software providers. These 55 nominees were chosen from a few hundreds of software solutions.

Providers were split into two:

The Traditionalists – those who identified a Traditional/Phased-Approach as the methodology that best fits their software
The Contemporaries – those who identified Agile or another methodology as the best fit (as well as those who indicated their solution is tailored to multiple methodologies)

Affinity 360: CRM + ERP for SMBs: Email Automation and Campaigns
We've added new features for automating communications with leads, customers and partners. This update also included 'status triggers' for accounts and orders.
The update allows businesses to reach targeted groups whether they are leads, customers, teams, partners, etc.

Messages can be personalized using templates and currently we've included 4 scheduling options: one-time, weekly, monthly and age/status.

The 'status triggers' are very simple; when the status of an account or order is changed an email will be automatically sent to the customer.

The developers from Stand By Soft are pleased to announce the release of a major version for the project management suite RationalPlan. Version 4.0 comes with a new design, a modern look and a more pleasant color scheme for the eye.

This is a major turn around as the company decided to focus on three different areas or more exactly on three important needs for different types of project managers. These needs are covered by the main three products: Single, Multi and Server.

This major upgrade is free for the clients that purchased their licenses within one year before the official 4.0 release date. Clients older than one year can upgrade to the new version by paying $17.10 for Single and $29.40 for Multi. Regarding the Server module the clients can be happy since the upgrade is free for everyone.

Ganttic Planner: Version 3.1
Now we are coming out with the last release in UI series.

How the user will benefit from new release:
Choose between simple layout where all data windows appear as pop-ups or advanced layout where data windows are stacked on left side of screen
Add URLs to tasks and projects. Creates possibility to link documents like budgets, plans, drawings etc. Also web pages and other files. NB! It does not upload any files to our servers.
Create a new project while creating a task. It used to be a hassle when you created a new task and wanted to assign it to a project what did not exist yet. So you had to go to project view, create it and back to task view to assign task to newly created project. Now you can click on the button next to project field and a pop-up appears to create a new project
Copy tasks. Instead of manually creating a new task identical to an old one, just press ‘Save as copy’ button and new task with same data will be created
Improved comments and history. You can choose if you want to see only history logs or just comments. Basically we have created a task/project "Twitter" functionality. Users can add comments to projects and tasks which will be listed in comments timeline. Makes it easy to follow the discussion about projects or tasks.
Printing the gantt chart is faster and better. Old version used to print just the visible area of gantt chart. New one prints it all.
We have now better help documentation. Still far from perfect, but basic functionality is covered and illustrated with lots of screenshots.
